As our CMCA Park network grows, so does the need for volunteer custodians. This role is vital to the successful operation of CMCA Parks. Like many aspects of our Club, the Parks project relies on the contribution of our members.

What is a custodian?

A custodian is a volunteer CMCA member who plays a vital role in keeping our parks running smoothly under NHQ guidance. They stay onsite and assist with online bookings, vehicle siting, and self-contained certification (where applicable), while also sharing local knowledge and attractions with visitors.

Behind the scenes, custodians provide feedback to NHQ, coordinate contractors, and handle basic maintenance such as mowing and tidying.

Simply put, our parks couldn’t operate without them.

How do you become a custodian?

Any member can apply to become a custodian at one of our parks!

Please email custodians@cmca.net.au and we will send you our training package.

The training package goes through all aspects of being a custodian including the role, responsibilities and administration platform. On completion of the training course you will be asked to complete a declaration that you have read and understood the requirements.

If you have any questions or troubles completing the course, please contact NHQ on 02 4978 8788 and we will be happy to assist.
