Nestled on the banks of the picturesque Blackwood River, the CMCA Flax Mill Caravan Park Boyup Brook offers a peaceful retreat just 1 hr 15 min east of Bunbury, 2 hrs 30 min from Albany, and a scenic 3-hour drive south of Perth.

Whether you're travelling in a caravan, RV, camper trailer, or pitching a tent, you'll find the perfect spot to unwind. Choose from:

Important information:

  • Check-in: After 1:00 PM
  • Check-out: By 11:00 AM
  • Maximum stay: No permanent camping. Maximum stay length is 30 days in any 180 day period. The maximum stay applies collectively to all persons travelling or staying together. Separate or consecutive bookings made under different Park guests names do not reset or extend the maximum stay period.
  • Riverfront sites are strictly for tents and camper trailers. All other vehicles will be allocated alternative sites.

Park rules

  • Same-day bookings close at 8:00 pm AEST
  • Maximum stay of 30 nights within any 180-day period
  • NO Permanent camping
  • Park guests must familiarise themselves with Park Specific rules and comply with Custodian directives.
  • Check in after 1.00pm, check out before 11am.
  • All sites must be kept neat and tidy.
  • No machinery or equipment is to be stored outside your vehicle. Max 2 vehicles per site (including your towable).
  • No grey or black water to be discharged to the ground, no matter what site you are on. If no sullage connection is available to your site, you must use the dump points provided to empty your wastewater, directly from an onboard tank or by use of a portable tote with watertight seal and shut off valve. A bucket is not acceptable to collect and carry wastewater to the dump point.
  • Generators to be run only between 8:00am and 7:00pm for no longer than 4 hours in a day and 2 hours at a time, and are only to run when someone is present at the RV.
  • Pets on leads always with leads no longer than 2m, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dog. Restrained pets may be permitted at communal happy hours only if ALL those present agree with the animal being present. The pet will not be near any food preparation areas. Members are only permitted to bring a maximum of two dogs/animals per RV to a CMCA premises, without prior approval of the CEO.
  • No personal campfires are permitted - only use the designated fire pit.
  • Make yourself aware of site emergency procedures - these will be displayed at the camp kitchen.
  • No smoking or vaping is permitted within the park grounds unless inside the guests’ own vehicle, and this is not to impact other guests.
  • Abusive, disruptive, and unruly behaviour will NOT be tolerated and can result in removal from the park.
  • Keep noise to a minimum and no noise after 9pm. Guests are responsible for visitor behaviour.
  • No washing of vehicles or RVs.
  • No charging of EVs in the park.

  • Music Festival 2030 - 13 February 2030 to 18 February 2030

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancel more than 48 hours before noon on your check-in day and receive a full refund to your original payment method or a Park Funds credit.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of noon on your check-in day, and no-shows, are not eligible for a refund.
  • No refunds apply for early departures or shortened stays after check-in.

    Extremely well managed, very neat & tidy all round. A nice touch is a rack in the shower to put shampoos etc! It's quiet & other guests are respectful. Heaps of room near the river for tents & campers. Prices are VERY good. One of the nicest places we've stayed. 👏👌😁

    Park is quiet, facilities clean and caretaker was informative and helpful. Only criticism is only one washing machine in the laundry. Happy to stay here again.
