About this Park
Open during the Northern Territory’s dry season from 1 April to 31 October, CMCA RV Park Humpty Doo offers a relaxed and convenient stay behind the iconic Humpty Doo Hotel, with direct access to the hotel’s services and swimming pool for park guests.
This fully self-contained RV park features:
- Flat, level sites suitable for all RV sizes
- Two dump points
- Potable water
- On-site custodian
- Optional access to brand-new unisex toilets and showers for just $3 per person per night
Located just 2km from Woolworths and 12km from Coolalinga Shopping Village, the park is a perfect base to explore Kakadu, Litchfield National Park, and Darwin City. Access is via Zamia Road off the Arnhem Highway.
Important information:
- 14-night stay limit in any 21. The maximum stay applies collectively to all persons travelling or staying together. Separate or consecutive bookings made under different names do not reset or extend the maximum stay period.
- Fully self-contained vehicles only (no tents or roof-top campers)
- Vehicles must not be left unattended overnight
- Amenities access is optional and must be selected during booking

Park rules
- Same-day bookings close at 6:30 PM AEST
- Maximum stay of 14 nights within any 21-day period
- Park guests must familiarise themselves with Park Specific rules and comply with Custodian directives
- Vehicles must comply with the CMCA Self-Contained Vehicle Policy and Leave No Trace® Code of Conduct. No roof top tents or tents/ swags under awnings.
- Check out by 10:00am and check in after 11:00am
- Grey water may be disposed of via hoses or portable totes to trees and landscaping only, not to grassed areas. Open buckets are not acceptable for transport of grey water. If grey water is more than 24 hrs old it must be disposed of through the dump point.
- No permanent connection to taps for fresh water
- Temporary camping only - limits apply, check with custodian if unsure
- Generators to be run only between 8:00am and 7:00pm for no longer than 4 hours in a day and 2 hours at a time, and are only to run when someone is present at the RV
- Batteries are not to be charged by running RV engine unless in an emergency situation and with prior approval from Custodian.
- Dogs on leads always with leads no longer than 2m, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dog. Restrained pets may be permitted at communal happy hours if you ask and ALL those present agree with the animal being present. A maximum of 2 pets per site.
- Park guests must comply with Custodian directives
- Parking - a minimum 3 metre space is to be left between RVs and all vehicles should be parked to allow easy emergency exit from the park (generally rear to boundary)
- Rubbish must be disposed of in the bins provided or taken with you if not provided
- No campfires are permitted - unless the park has a designated fire pit, which is under the control of the Custodian
- Make yourself aware of site emergency procedures, and these will be displayed at the happy hour shelter
- No smoking or vaping is permitted unless in guest’s own vehicle, and this is not to impact other guests
- Please do not wash your vehicles within the park unless a dedicated wash bay is provided
- Bikes, scooters, golf carts, mobility scooters and the like (powered and unpowered) are to adhere to the 10km speed limit of the park, wear appropriate protective equipment such as a helmet at all times, and only be used when legally allowed. No whip cracking within the park.
- Abusive, disruptive, and unruly behaviour will NOT be tolerated and can result in your removal from the park. Please be aware of noise and do not disturb other guests.
Park closures
- Closed for Wet Season - 01 November to 31 March
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancel more than 48 hours before noon on your check-in day and receive a full refund to your original payment method or a Park Funds credit.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of noon on your check-in day, and no-shows, are not eligible for a refund.
- No refunds apply for early departures or shortened stays after check-in.

Paul the custodian was very informative & helpful. Great behind Humpty Doo pub, supermarket, bakery down the road. Gas across the road.
