About this Park

Open during the Northern Territory’s dry season, CMCA RV Park Humpty Doo offers a relaxed and convenient stay behind the iconic Humpty Doo Hotel, with direct access to the hotel’s services and swimming pool for park guests.

This fully self-contained RV park features:

Flat, level sites suitable for all RV sizes
Two dump points
Potable water
On-site custodian
Optional access to brand-new unisex toilets and showers for just $3 per booking per night

Located just 2km from Woolworths and 12km from Coolalinga Shopping Village, the park is a perfect base to explore Kakadu, Litchfield National Park, and Darwin City. Access is via Zamia Road off the Arnhem Highway.

Fully self-contained vehicles only (no tents or roof-top campers)
Vehicles must not be left unattended overnight
Amenities access is optional and must be selected during booking

Park rules

Vehicles must comply with the CMCA Self-Contained Vehicle Policy and Leave No Trace® Code of Conduct. No roof top tents or tents/ swags under awnings.
Check out by 10:00am and check in after 11:00am
Grey water may be disposed of via hoses or portable totes to trees and landscaping only, not to grassed areas. Open buckets are not acceptable for transport of grey water. If grey water is more than 24 hrs old it must be disposed of through the dump point.
No permanent connection to taps for fresh water
Temporary camping only - limits apply, check with custodian if unsure
Generators to be run only between 8:00am and 7:00pm for no longer than 4 hours in a day and 2 hours at a time, and are only to run when someone is present at the RV
Batteries are not to be charged by running RV engine unless in an emergency situation and with prior approval from Custodian.
Dogs on leads always with leads no longer than 2m, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dog. Restrained pets may be permitted at communal happy hours if you ask and ALL those present agree with the animal being present.
Park guests must comply with Custodian directives
Parking - a minimum 3 metre space is to be left between RVs and all vehicles should be parked to allow easy emergency exit from the park (generally rear to boundary)
Rubbish must be disposed of in the bins provided or taken with you if not provided
No campfires are permitted - unless the park has a designated fire pit, which is under the control of the Custodian
Make yourself aware of site emergency procedures, and these will be displayed at the happy hour shelter
No smoking or vaping is permitted unless in guest’s own vehicle, and this is not to impact other guests
Please do not wash your vehicles within the park unless a dedicated wash bay is provided
Bikes, scooters, golf carts, mobility scooters and the like (powered and unpowered) are to adhere to the 10km speed limit of the park, wear appropriate protective equipment such as a helmet at all times, and only be used when legally allowed. No whip cracking within the park.
Abusive, disruptive, and unruly behaviour will NOT be tolerated and can result in your removal from the park. Please be aware of noise and do not disturb other guests.
